Evolution and Revolution: OSF In the Mood

I am in the mood for revising the landscape of my home and creating an urban garden. But I feel even more inspired to take on some new personal challenges and spread out into new spiritual and intellectual areas.
Evolution of self prepares one for revolution of the world.

I just moved and I've been decorating and planting for weeks - don't forget the herb garden, I love mine and it saves me a bundle in fresh herb dollars!

I also just got my old family photos and heirlooms out of storage where they've been buried for 12 years, so I've been Indulging in Nostalgia as Memories Light the Corners of my Mind this last week.

All the great upbeat tunes are helping pull me out of my sniffles, thank you.

Love the Emotions. :-) Wish there was a group today with that kind of harmony. Go for that garden!

I love working in a garden. It's those rare moments I'm not focused on 10 million things. Seeing the life develop from your efforts is spectacular.
Once we finish with indoor task list, our outdoor projects will begin.

Garden work is a totally new concept for me and I have been surprised at how much peace it brings me. Just yesterday I snipped my crop of peonies and now have a beautiful arrangement on my kitchen counter. I did have a respectable 4 ripe red strawberries, but alas, some critter (I think the raccoon who lives under my deck) came and helped him or herself to my bounty!

Anyway, thanks for The Emotions--sweet sounds like angels. (How I miss them!)

Have a great weekend, Reverend.

Hi Revvy!

I am finally back on line!

You know that I am a garden lover! It brings me peace and joy to work the land.

I hope your garden does the same for you.

Flowers is one of my favorite songs by the Emotions.

I am over here rocking side to side. Good music does that to me. :)

Hey there!

I love this quote because it captures the precise reason WHY my forum focuses so heailty on self-examination!

Evolution of self prepares one for revolution of the world.

I absolutely second that!

Thanks for sharing The Emotions!

My absolute favorite is "Don't Ask My Neighbor"!

Peace, blessings and DUNAMIS!
Lisa

P.S. Can't wait to see pics of the garden! I keep trying to tell women that God made men to be cultivators and that is why He had Adam tending the Garden!

Great statement, Rev., and I feel you loud and strong on that one. Life is all about growth. You stop growing you stop living.

Have a good one.
