Same Beat: OSF Dancing Thru Depressions and Recessions

Same Beat by Fred Wesley

We cannot allow ourselves to be defined by "good times" or "bad times." We cannot allow hard times to cover up the calm times, or cause us to forsake the best times yet to come.

There is a type of music to describe every emotion and mood imaginable which is why I love your title - Dancing Through Depressions And Recessions!

You can't let the devil steal your joy!
Have a great weekend!

This is really great. It reminds me of the songs on the Black Revolution albums: the exact title is slipping from my memory at the moment. The videography is also cool. so kudos to Max1xx for that. Great how a song with only two words can say soooo much

Hey Rev.

For some reason it's not coming up on my screen right now, but all I had to see was that it was Fred Wesley and I kn ew 2 things:
1) It's slammin
2) I'll be back

Happy OSF!

My SHOCK when I realized I actually knew this song, but had no idea what the title was (I thank my Dad again...lol).

Not to mention I am sure it has been sampled by my generation a few times over as well.

Happy OSF Revvy.

This is something my mother would have loved and would have jazzed up with some vocal riffs. I could clean house to this type of laid back sound. Nice choice.

You put some message spin on this, Rev., and I thank you for that. :-) Can't take the teacher out of the man. Happy OSF!

Happy Fathers Day!
I'm shocked that you quote Abdullah Anthony Samad. He was one of my favorite commentators in the LA Sentinel newspaper.
